SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), January 13 (SeeNews) – All of the indices of Bosnia's two bourses, the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) and the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE), ended the week in negative territory while trading turnovers were mixed, bourse data indicated on Friday.
SASE's 10-share benchmark SASX-10 index lost 1.18% from last Friday to 681.50 points.
The broader SASX-30 index, which comprises the 30 most liquid stocks on the SASE, closed at 968.96 points, 0.19% down compared to last Friday.
The SASE index tracking investment funds, the BIFX, dropped 0.57% closing at 1,020.69 points.
The Islamic stock index, launched by SASE and Bosna Bank International (BBI), declined by 0.24% to 9,672.01 points. The index tracks 25 companies.
SASE's total trading turnover came in at 84,657.38 marka ($45,958.70/43,284.63 euro) in five sessions this week, compared to 110,706 marka in three sessions last week. The Sarajevo bourse was closed last week on Monday and Tuesday for a New Year holiday.
Drug maker Bosnalijek [SAJ:BSNLR] was the most traded stock on SASE's official market. The stock generated a trading turnover of 57,451.39 marka this week.
SASE is based in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BLSE is based in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
BLSE’s benchmark index, the BIRS, fell 0.23% from last Thursday, reaching 549.22 points this Friday.
BLSE was closed on Monday and Friday last week due to New Year and Christmas holidays, and Monday this week due to statehood day.
The bourse's investment fund index, the FIRS, decreased 2.14% from last week's level, closing at 1,527.69 points on January 13.
Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] generated the biggest trading turnover of 25,401.99 marka on BLSE's official market this week.
BLSE’s total trading turnover increased to 737,209.64 marka in four trading sessions this week from 536,702 marka in three sessions last week.
