June 19 (SeeNews) - The road company of Bosnia's Serb Republc, Putevi Republike Srpske will provide some 950,000 marka ($544,313/485,727 euro) to finance the construction of a 700-metre long section of the western ring road of the town of Trebinje, local media reported.
This is the first phase of the project, with the second and third phase to be implemented in 2020 and 2021, TrebinjeLive.info reported on Tuesday.
The total length of the western ring road of Trebinje amounts to 5.5 kilometres. When completed, the ring road will connect the main roads to Mostar and Croatia's Dubrovnik.
The town authorities have invested some 150,000 marka for drafting the project documentation and resolving property issues.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
