SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 9 (SeeNews) – Bosnia's state-level government said it will take out a 76 million euro ($80.7 million) loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the construction of two sections on pan-European transport Corridor Vc in the country.
The deadline for the repayment of the loan is 15 years, including a four-year grace period, the Council of Ministers said following a session on Thursday.
The funds are intended for the construction of a 5.8 km long motorway section between Donja Gracanica and Klopca and a 10.4 km section connecting Svilaj and Odzak.
The works on these sections are a continuation of the Corridor Vc 2 project, financed with EBRD loans in the amount of 80 million euro, the Council of Ministers said.
Corridor Vc, which connects the port of Ploce in Croatia with Budapest in Hungary via Bosnia, is the main north-south Corridor running through BiH.
