SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 9 (SeeNews) – Bosnia and Herzegovina posted a total budget revenue, including proceeds and financing, of 749.4 million marka ($406.7 million/383.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2016, or 79% of the planned full-year sum, the country’s council of ministers said.
Total budget expenditures amounted to 632.95 million marka in the nine months through September or 51% of the adjusted 2016 spending plan, the council of ministers said in a press release on Thursday following a regular weekly session.
The country paid 477.56 million marka to service its foreign debt over the review period.
Bosnia's state-level government said in November it approved a draft budget of state institutions for next year which foresees revenues of 950 million euro, unchanged from 2016. The draft budget bill also foresees revenues for external debt servicing in the amount of 1.01 billion marka in 2017.
Bosnia is made up of two entities, the Serb Republic and the Federation. The two parts have separate budgets, while the state-level government and institutions have their own budget.
