October 19 (SeeNews) - Belgrade's stock indices ended up on Wednesday, as turnover fell sharply, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, tracking the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, grew 0.51% to 649.02 after increasing 0.84% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline index rose 0.35% to 1,456.39 after edging up 0.31% in the previous trading session.
Total turnover plummeted to 22.6 million dinars ($201,300/183,600 euro) from 219.9 million dinars on Tuesday.
Airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] was the biggest blue chip gainer, adding 2.68% to 1,073 dinars with 2,310 shares changing hands.
Lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue chip losers, shedding 2.26% to 1,601 dinars as 1,575 shares were sold.
Oil and gas firm NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded blue-chip company with a daily turnover of 13.2 million dinars. It's stock closed up 0.99% at 615 dinars.
