July 30 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) lost ground on Friday, as the share price of heavyweight distributor of fast-moving consumer goods Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] fell, data showed.
Atlantic Grupa's shares shed 1.96% to close at 1,500 kuna ($237/200 euro) in a turnover of 657,000 kuna.
On Thursday, Atlantic Grupa's share price rose 2% after the company posted a 48.1% year-on-year increase of first-half net profit, to 217.5 million kuna.
The ZSE's blue-chip 18-share benchmark CROBEX dipped 0.27% on Friday to a closing value of 1,948.31 points as many of the blue-chip companies announced their financial results for the first half of 2021.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.59% to finish at 1,197.75 points.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] contributed the biggest chunk of trading turnover on Friday, of 1.3 million kuna. The company's shares rose 2.94% to close at 420 kuna on Friday after the company said it swung to a consolidated net profit of 45.4 million kuna in the first half of 2021, from a net loss of 57.4 million kuna in the same period of last year.
The ZSE's turnover from regular trading rose to 7.8 million kuna from 5.1 million kuna on Thursday.
