July 30 (SeeNews) - US-based Appfire, which offers apps for software development teams, said it has agreed to acquire IT company Snapbytes Limited (UK) founded in Turkey, in a deal expected to enhance its competitive power in the IT service and management market.
"Snapbytes is a Top Atlassian Marketplace Partner with more than 4,300 global installations of its IT Service Management (ITSM) applications," Appfire said in a press release earlier this week.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Snapbytes was founded in 2016 in Istanbul as a software development company and consultancy firm, focused on DevOps and the Atlassian Ecosystem, according to its website. With offices in Istanbul, Turkey and Cambridge, UK, Snapbytes counts among its customers Tesla, Verizon, Dell, Siemens, J&J, Airbnb, Xerox, SAP, Turksat and Sony.
As part of the deal, Snapbytes’ entire app development team will join Appfire, including founder and CEO Tuncay Senturk, and a dozen other software engineers and support professionals.
“Joining Appfire will allow us to achieve our goals through additional integrations with a range of powerful products, supported by unmatched customer service and centralized business processes,” Senturk noted in the press release.
