TIRANA (Albania), February 17 (SeeNews) – Albania will offer 4 billion leks ($39.1 million/32.4 million euro) worth of three-year Treasury notes at an auction on February 19, central bank data shows.
The new issue of government securities will mature on February 23, 2024, the data shows.
At the last auction of three-year Treasury notes held on January 7, the finance ministry sold 6 billions leks worth of government securities, in line with plan. The accepted coupon rate was 2.63%, slightly lower compared with the 2.7% rate accepted at the previous auction of three-year government paper held in October, according to figures published by the central bank.
