TIRANA (Albania), February 19 (SeeNews) – The Albanian Development Fund (ADF) is inviting bids in a tender for the upgrade of a rural road in the country’s southern region of Vlora, it said on Friday.
The bidding deadline is March 23 and the maximum budget available for the reconstruction works on the road linking Peshkepi to Selenica is estimated at 750 million leks ($7.2 million/6 million euro), VAT excluded, ADF said in a tender notice.
The construction works are expected to be completed in 12 months after the awarding of the contract.
The ADF is a public agency whose mission is to encourage a sustainable, balanced and cohesive socio-economic development at local and regional level. The ADF was established at the beginning of 1993, based on an agreement between the Albanian government and the World Bank.
