September 25 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia considers the introduction of additional flights in its service linking Belgrade to Cyprus' Larnaca, it said.
Air Serbia expects increased demand for flights to Larnaca after the Cyprus government permitted Serbian citizens to enter with a negative PCR test as of September 24, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
For now, Air Serbia will continue to operate flights to Larnaca twice weekly -- on Monday and Saturday, even though the original plan was to reduce the number of flights, it added.
"Having in mind that the daily temperatures in Cyprus are very pleasant, we are certain that the number of passengers who will visit this popular destination in the Mediterranean in October will increase," stated Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy of Air Serbia.
Air Serbia is currently the only airline that operates flights between Serbia and Cyprus.
