Albania hired a group of Italian companies led by Gesteco to carry out a landfill project near the capital Tirana worth six million euro ($8.1 million).
The landfill will be in the Sharre area, near the capital.
The project is completely funded by the Italian government, which provides 3.8 million euro for the landfill work, 1.8 million euro for equipment and 400,000 in technical assistance.
