Croatian power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod has won a 42 million euro ($57 million) tender to build a 400 kilovolt (kV) electricity transmission line that would connect Albania and Montenegro - Dalekovod and should construct in two years a 157-kilometre power transmission line that would link Albania's capital Tirana and Montenegro's capital Podgorica, 128 km of which are on Albanian territory.
The tender was called by the power transmission operators of Albania, KESH-OST, and Montenegr's Elektroprivreda Crne Gore. Dalekovod has outbid a German-Slovak consortium made up of SAG and Elektrovod companies in the tender.
