April 8 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new passenger cars in Romania fell 10.9% on the year in the January-March period, reaching 32,662 vehicles, the Romanian Car Producers and Importers Association, APIA, said on Monday.
In March alone, registrations dropped 26.6% year-on-year to 8,925 vehicles, APIA said in a press release.

Light commercial vehicles registrations, including minibuses, increased by an annual 9.7% to 1,448 units in March, while registrations of heavy commercial vehicles and buses grew 4%.
As many as 27% of the new passenger cars registered in Romania during the January-March period were manufactured by Dacia.
