April 19 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks rose 6.1% year-on-year to 449.3 billion denars ($7.8 billion/7.3 billion euro) at the end of March, the central bank said on Friday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio was 0.3% higher at the end of March, the central bank said in a statement.
Loans to the corporate sector grew 5.4% on the year, reaching 214.3 billion denars at the end of March, while loans to households totalled 232.3 billion denars, up 6.8%.
