March 4 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange rose on Monday, for a second session in a row, supported by gains in Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] and hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP], bourse data showed.
The 20-share benchmark CROBEX added 0.41% to close at 2,771.70 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.46% to 1,661.23 points.
In regular turnover, ordinary shares of power transformer manufacturer Koncar D&ST [ZSE: KODT], were the most traded stock with a turnover of 538,700 euro ($585,000), as they fell 0.77% to 1,290 euro. They are not part of the main share indices.
Shares of Hrvatski Telekom gained 1.42% to 28.50 euro in a turnover of 502,000 euro.
Blue-chip shares of Valamar rose 2.10% to 4.87 euro in a turnover of 277,300 euro.
Shares of Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] soared 4.41% to 17.75 euro in a turnover of 252,000 euro. They are part of the wider index.
In lower turnovers, shares of another lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] rose 2.50% and shares of food snd pharmaceuticals manufacturer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] went up 0.63%.
A total of 23,029 shares of hotel owner Arena Hospitality [ZSE:ARNT] changed hands at a price of 32 euro apiece in a 737,000 euro block trading.
The total turnover slightly fell to 3.6 million euro from 3.7 million euro on Friday.
