March 4 (SeeNews) - German car parts manufacturer PWO will break ground for a plant in Serbia’s central city of Cacak in May, local media reported.
“Nine engineers of that company are already working in Cacak. This is great news for our city. The contract specifies that in the last phase, up to 800 workers will be employed,” Cacak mayor Milun Todorovic was quoted as saying by news portal Cacanski Glas last week.

The size of the investment was not disclosed.
PWO Group has production plants in Germany and the Czech Republic. It booked a revenue of 555.7 million euro ($603.3 million) in 2023.
