May 9 (SeeNews) - A total of 63,459 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in March, compared with 61,611 in the same month of 2023, official figures showed.
Foreign tourists spent 142,056 overnights in Bosnia in March, up 1.6% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report on Wednesday.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in March was 101,429, up 0.5% on the year. Total tourist overnights also increased 0.5% to 215,843.
In March most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Croatia (14,591), Serbia (11,728) and Slovenia (5,330).
Last year, a total of 1.18 million foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, up 29% compared to 2022.
