April 18 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices and the turnover on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Thursday, after it was closed on Wednesday due to the country’s general election, bourse data showed.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX fell 0.35% to close at 2,803.31 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 0.24% lower at 1,697.40 points.
Ordinary shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS] generated the biggest daily turnover, 313,000 euro ($333,000) as they rose 3.07% to 84 euro. They are not part of the main share indices.
Hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] was the most traded company among the blue chips. Its shares appreciated 0.77% to 5.22 euro on a turnover of 147,000 euro.
The regular turnover went down to 1.1 million euro from 1.4 million euro on Tuesday.
