May 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's output in services, except trade and financial and insurance activities, increased by 3.6% on the year in February, following a revised annual gain of 4.2% in January, the statistical office said on Thursday, quoting preliminary data.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, total production in the services sector inched up by 0.1% in February after rising by a revised 1.1% the previous month, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly report.
The highest annual growth was posted in the output of accommodation and food service activities, at 9.3%, followed by information and communication with a 6.3% leap. In comparison, professional, scientific and technical activities marked a production decline of 0.7% year-on-year.
In monthly terms, output in real estate activities increased the most, by 3.2%, while administrative and support service activities fell by 4.3%.
