The move is part of Bosch's strategy to consolidate and expand its service portfolio.
Around 1,400 employees of the total 2,000 Bosch has in Timisoara were transferred from the existing Bosch Service Solutions to the new entity, with no impact on their working conditions.
Bosch Service Solutions, established in 2007, provides IT and software services to Bosch and external customers.
"We continue to invest heavily in expanding our service portfolio to cover all areas of shared services and manage the complexity of tasks for established teams," said Martin Gladigow, general manager of Bosch Global Business Services in Timisoara.
