April 24 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 3.45 billion leks ($36.5 million/34.2 million euro) worth of fixed-rate Treasury notes at an auction on Wednesday, above target, central bank data showed.
The government securities carry a 5.25% coupon and will mature on January 26, 2029, according to the calendar of upcoming Treasury paper auctions published by the central bank.
At the last auction of five-year Treasury notes for the same issue held on March 25, the finance ministry sold the same amount of government securities, 3.45 billion leks, also above target.
